MASC Eaves Cutter

Clean cuts at the eaves – on both sides of the seam. The TS 1 eaves cutter cuts panels precisely at the eaves fold: one side of the tool for the underlap, turned 180° for the overlap. Marked out with the template, pushed through along the seam – done.

WHAT YOU NEED IT FOR

• Cut panels at the eaves – controlled right up to the seam instead of freehand with tin snips
• One tool for both sides: small cutting wheel for the overlap, large cutting wheel for the underlap – just turn it 180°
• Repeatable work: hook the template onto the eaves edge, transfer the marking lines, position the tool on the start line
• Even with a large eaves overhang: from 2.5 cm, cut several times in 15 mm steps

HOW IT WORKS

Hook the template flush onto the eaves edge and mark the lines. Position the eaves cutter on the start line and push the cutting lever from the centre position through to the seam in the direction of the arrow. For longer cuts, set the cutting lever back one notch via the locking lever and keep cutting. Flatten and smooth the cut – lay the next panel.

GOOD TO KNOW

• Spray the cutting surfaces (marked red) with MASC Schneidfix from time to time – more often with aluminium sheet
• Avoid dry cuts: they can cause chipping on the cutting wheel
